Kota Kinabalu, 4 July 2025 – The 12th Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE) 2025 successfully concluded its two-day event at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), celebrating remarkable progress in collaboration, talent development, and community engagement. Supported by the Sabah Convention Bureau (SCB), the event attracted 526 participants from across Malaysia and around the globe.

Beyond industry collaborations, SOGCE 2025 emphasized its commitment to community and talent development. Proceeds from the SOGCE Networking Golf were directed to charitable organizations including the Sabah Society for the Blind, Persatuan Thalassaemia Sabah, and Sabah Cheshire Home. At the same time, initiatives such as the Energy Career Aspirations Networking Series (ECANS) and the Energy-4Me Programme, led by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), created opportunities for young professionals and students to gain exposure to career pathways and the vital role of energy in society.

With strong participation from across Sabah, other Malaysian states, and international delegates from countries such as Canada, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and China, the conference reinforced its global significance. “SOGCE 2025 is a clear example of how Sabah can host impactful business events that drive industry growth while delivering wider economic and community benefits,” said Mdm.
