Sandakan, 12 June 2025 – The 2nd Malaysia Palm Oil Expo (MAPEX) 2025 successfully concluded in Sandakan, bringing together 42 exhibitors from Malaysia, China, India, and Indonesia, along with nearly 800 trade visitors. Organized by NRG Exhibitions (M) Sdn Bhd, the two-day event showcased cutting-edge technologies and fostered new business collaborations, reinforcing East Malaysia’s critical role in the global palm oil industry.
The success of MAPEX 2025 was further amplified through the support of the Sabah Convention Bureau (SCB), which champions international business events as a driver of economic growth and legacy impact. “MAPEX 2025 demonstrates how Sabah can host impactful trade exhibitions that not only benefit specific industries but also contribute to our wider economy,” said Mdm. Noredah Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Sabah Convention Bureau.
