Kota Kinabalu, 28 August 2025 – The 7th IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and Technology (IICAIET) 2025 concluded today at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), following three days of dynamic discussions and knowledge exchange. Organized by the IEEE Sabah Subsection UMS and supported by the Sabah Convention Bureau (SCB), the conference brought together researchers and professionals from Malaysia and abroad to explore the latest advancements in AI and engineering.
The event featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, headlined by Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Hudyjaya Siswoyo Jo of Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. His keynote, “Practical Applications of AI in Robotics and Automation: Bringing Theory and Development,” provided invaluable insights into bridging academic research with real-world applications, setting the tone for discussions on the transformative role of AI in engineering and technology.
Throughout the conference, delegates engaged in presentations, technical sessions, and networking activities that fostered collaboration across borders and disciplines.
